A computer guy with no FaceBook/MySpace account ! not even a Blog ? Ok, here is my blog…
So, on this website (Your Online Zone is a Backronym i confess) i will be blogging a bit on New Technology, Old Technology, Jordan (HKJ)… a place where i have a personal issue with 2 officials, the Mayor (Head of the municipality) and anyone involved in this traffic mess. Otherwise i am happy about basically everything in my country.
Also, I try hard to keep an open eye on progress in Jordan, technological and financial, i see some things i like, other things i don’t like (I like all sorts of progress as long as it is not Lingual)….
I hate crooks, i have a personal issue with middle men, i just hate the idea that a middle man is actually a fact of life, Maybe coz they make more money from my products than i do ! and it costs them nothing but a 2 hour course in bullshitology (I think i coined that term 5 or 6 years ago but i am not sure).
On the other hand i LOVE the readiness of the people to change, i am surprised by how much of a difference one man with real determination can make, Our king has done miracles in very few years (Since 1999), and basically he still has the pedal to the metal, going abroad trying to market us and our potential. Working hard with our institutions for a more qualified generation (You don’t need to know what it was like before, and it really is much much better now), Anyway, some day when i find more time i will update the Wikipedia entry here since it is really full of bullshit. i wonder who did those new biased edits.
I am also a Pro-Peace kind of guy, i think war is as stupid as many other things that surprise me in Humans, i want to see us work with our Hi-Tech neighbors some day so we can prosper along, i want to see the Palestinians run there own state and live in Peace, And i want to see some change in many things that we are holding tight to and don’t want to let go of.
I am very proud of our predecessors, our grand fathers and our great grand fathers, I am astonished how they founded a country up to the western standards (Look at our legislation) without even having to go where others have started long before us.
Yet i feel that this pride is one thing, and the fact that they are dead is another, i feel more legitimate to make change, times change, and i know better what these times are all about, i feel that we should start changing things NOW.
And so, i feel very lucky to live in this century.
