It worked for me in beta like magic, no longer do i need to reboot to use Windows, i can simply use it with a copy of ubuntu right out of the box, 8.04 stable came out, and i have a problem, i enabled virtualization, gone through the wizard, and when i get to making a virtual hard disk the forward button won’t click !
Anyway, i found out that the bug has been addressed here

So, the new UBUNTU 8.04 is out, and everyone is out to get it
I have been waiting for this one (For virtualization), so i went and downloaded it with the masses.
The download was very slow, 50-80 KB/s, but sometimes it can drop quite a bit more than that
So, i finished the download, checked the MD5, compressed it, and broke it into 80MB files (You need the free 7zip for windows or linux), the compression didn’t do wonders (since the files inside the ISO are already somewhat compressed), it only made the total size 3′844′044′174 instead of 3′912′095′774 bytes, that is it saved only 68′051′600 bytes !
The compression came out with 46 files, each 83′886′080 and 1 file with the size 69′170′574
an About 68 MBs smaller file is not bad, and rapidshare has plenty bandwidth so i posted the somewhat faster downloads on rapidshare

once you download and extract the files ubuntu-8.04-dvd-amd64.iso will come out, burn that and you are good to go !

PHP is one great language, it is easy to pick up, and evolving like a hurricane, i have used it for 5 years now, i started PHP because i already program in C++, and the syntax is very similar, in PHP5, the language was a worthy Object Oriented Language, And all the success it has, it deserves, the most popular web scripting language is finally mature with 5.
PHP 6 introduces little significant change (Beside namespaces and a bit of reorganisation on what is core and what is not), at least this is my opinion up to this minute.
There is no reason why i should move away, no convincing reason that is, but i hate staying where i am, C++ i would never change for change takes so much time and i am getting old, Not to mention that i don’t see any other language to give me such control, SQL is the standard for database, as for a web scripting language (other than using CGI), i think it is time to try out JSP (Java server pages), if i don’t like it, i go back to PHP !
But before i move on to use the new beuty, i will write a farewell letter, nothing better than an intro to OO with PHP-5.
It will serve the language that served me for many years, and it will server me as i go into JSP by organizing the data i will be comparing against !

It has been some time since i stopped listening to Ozzy Osbourn, Metallica is something i listen to very occasionally, i have been into stuff like coldplay focr some time, yesterday as i was moving data around to make spae on some hard drive, i came across a folder labeled Rammstein, Wonder what that is doing here, i never was a fan of them (Maybe i never payed enough attention), anyway, i decided to have a look (Since what was inside was video), and i have nothing against industrial metal, i would rather listen to it in a language i understand, but let us see i thought…
after 248 seconds, i have to say, how did i not like this….
The video of the song Sonne is a more realistic version of Snow White where she abuses her power (That comes from her size) and make the Dwarfs work for her so she can get high by sniffing gold dust, Sounds like everyday planet earth to me !
Anyway, that’s not the point, I think it is Genius, They say the inspiration came while they were watching Disney’s snow white, How can you be so smart in changing the story.
Then i took a look at other videos, this thing is real, its a bit gothic, a bit black, and has things if performed by anyone else i would hate, but this stuff is different, it is good !
The lyrics to the song… something like The sun is shining out of my hands, it can burn, it can blind you… Obviously the song was not made for the video, and the video was fitted on the song, but the video is genius, it stands on its own.
They say Rammstein has a new album in 2008, i will buy it.
And surely, will stop judging music the first time i hear it…
